Registration and Fees
FEES UPON REGISTRATION:
Our initial registration fees include:
- S.E.E.D.S. membership fee is $ 1.00, and
- a non-refundable registration fee, to be applied against the first childcare fee payment, once childcare space has been confirmed.
FEES:
- Fees are due on the 15th of each month. When the 15th falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the fees are due the following Monday.
- Monthly fees can be calculated by: a child’s daily rate x the number of days s/he is enrolled in programme.
- While all parents receive a monthly statement (during the first week of the month), it remains the parent’s responsibility to ensure that his/her account is in good standing.
Payments can be made through:
- direct debit,
- cheque, or
- by cash.
Occasionally, S.E.E.D.S is able to provide emergency or occasional care. Payment for temporary care is due in cash, on the day the care is provided.
ABSENT DAYS (STATUTORY HOLIDAYS AND ILLNESS):
Fees are charged on an enrolment basis. Parents are required to pay for statutory holidays and days missed due to illness. Our ability to cover staff salaries and other operating costs is projected based on enrolment. These costs are fixed regardless of whether a child is absent.
FEE SUBSIDY:
The County of Simcoe provides child care fee subsidy for eligible families. Parents can call 705-722-3132 to discuss their family’s needs and the potential for accessing this assistance.
